Xiaomi unveiled their flagship offering for 2022, the 12 Pro, in late December. It aims to deliver the ultimate Xiaomi experience with top-of-the-line specifications and design.

Design and Display

The 12 Pro sports a gorgeous 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution for sharp visuals. It has slim bezels and curves smoothly into the aluminum frame. Corning’s tough Victus glass provides protection at the front and back.

Hardware and Performance  

Powering the phone is the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip paired with up to 12GB RAM. In my tests, it smoked through everything I threw at it from intensive games to heavy multitasking. You won’t experience any lag with this beast.

Camera

It packs a versatile triple camera setup with a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Photos showed plenty of detail while the zoom sensor provides up to 5x lossless zoom. Video is a standout with 8K recording.

Charging and Battery Life

With 4600mAh capacity, the 12 Pro easily lasts over a day. But its insane 120W wired charging is the real highlight – it achieved a 100% charge in just 18 minutes as claimed in my tests.
